Get Involved
Habitat for Humanity is an ecumenical, grassroots Christian organization that provides homes in partnership with families currently living in substandard housing.
We are a volunteer-driven organization. Volunteers work on construction, administration, fundraising, and just about everything in between! Without volunteers like you, Montcalm County Habitat for Humanity would not have been able to build the 18 homes we have in Montcalm County. Without volunteers like you Montcalm County would not have been able to provide 18 families with quality affordable housing. Without volunteers like you Montcalm County Habitat for Humanity would not be able to exist!

Construction
Volunteers come to us from every segment of our community. You can volunteer as an individual, as a family, with a group from your workplace, school, community organization, or church. Habitat needs volunteers with special interests and skills but the majority of our volunteers are inexperienced and interested in learning on the job. You are all welcome!
Our regular crew works on Habitat construction 12 months a year during the following times.
  • Monday - Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m
    .
  • Saturdays - from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
  • On Thursday morning at 8:00 a.m. the construction crew meets for coffee and updates at McDonalds on N. Lafayette Street in Greenville, you are welcome to come and meet the guys!

        Join a Committee
Montcalm Habitat has grown tremendously over the past few years. Without the dedicated Board of Directors and Committee members who volunteer all of their time, we could not exist and continue the work we are doing, not to mention the growth we hope will happen over the coming years. Joining a committe is a great way to utilize your experience and skills to help Montcalm Habitat and our community. There are many opportunities within each of these committees. Contact us for more information.
